St Mary of the Assumption Church, Katonah, NY
This Roman Catholic church is dedicated to Mary, the Blessed Mother. Befitting the name of the church, the stained glass windows depict the principal events in the life of Mary. The origin of the windows, including the name of the artist, is unfortunately not known, but the style is typical of the early part of the 20th century.
There are five windows on each side wall. The left and right walls face southeast and northwest, respectively. Thus, direct sunlight falls on the southeast windows around the winter solstice, while on the opposite side, this occurs around the summer solstice.

The 3-panel window is located above the altar and faces southwest.

These two windows are located in the vestibule, on either side of the entrance to the church. They face northeast.
The church, built in 1908, is celebrating its centennial. The two musical images, above and below, are detail cutouts of windows located on the stairwell upto the choir loft. The exterior of two of the side windows is pictured below, right.
